  11. Hi, I have a C-128, Swiftlink, and a Macintosh in the same room.  I
  12. hooked up a null-modem cable between the two computers, and they can
  13. talk to each other fine, but what protocol do I use for transfers?  I
  14. tried both Y-MODEM binary and ASCII, but neither worked on my 128 when
  15. I downloaded the same program I just uploaded to my Mac (which I
  16. thought went through OK).  Any ideas?

  18. If this would be more easily done on a IBM PC, please let me know how;
  19. I have a PC too.  I wanted to use my Mac because of the long file
  20. names.

  22. Gee, seems like questions like these get asked a lot.  I searched
  23. around some WWW pages but couldn't find any specific information. 
  24. Maybe there should be a comp.sys.cbm.transfers :)
