- Hi, I have a C-128, Swiftlink, and a Macintosh in the same room. I
- hooked up a null-modem cable between the two computers, and they can
- talk to each other fine, but what protocol do I use for transfers? I
- tried both Y-MODEM binary and ASCII, but neither worked on my 128 when
- I downloaded the same program I just uploaded to my Mac (which I
- thought went through OK). Any ideas?
-
- If this would be more easily done on a IBM PC, please let me know how;
- I have a PC too. I wanted to use my Mac because of the long file
- names.
-
- Gee, seems like questions like these get asked a lot. I searched
- around some WWW pages but couldn't find any specific information.
- Maybe there should be a comp.sys.cbm.transfers :)
-
- All help would be appreciated!
